Camera media, from anywhere to your storage. Every file checked.
NOVA sends cards and folders from Macs on set, in kits and at other facilities straight to your post storage at full line speed, verifies every byte, and lets your team share, review and archive it from one place.
What NOVA does
Five parts, one sign-in. Each company and each person only sees the parts and the storage they're given.
- NOVA
- Moves media.
- Send and pull between Macs and your storage over many parallel streams. Transfers resume where they stopped, every file is SHA-256 verified, and hot folders send each new card the moment it's plugged in. Finished work goes to LTO tape, with a catalog to find any file later.
- MTRX
- Connects storage and Macs.
- NEXIS, SMB and NFS storage, and the Macs that work with it, in one place, with live status, speed limits and the folders each person can reach.
- GLXY
- Delivers to people outside.
- Email a download link to anything on your storage, or give a client a page to upload to. Links expire when you say, and every download is logged.
- HRZN
- Reviews and approvals.
- A review player with comments on timecode, approvals and review links you can share. Send to Frame.io when a project lives there.
- CORE
- Runs it.
- Companies, people and permissions, and a record of who did what and when.
How a card gets to post
-
Plug it in
On set, in a flight kit or at another facility, the card goes into a NOVA Mac. A hot folder picks it up and gives it its own folder.
-
It travels
NOVA sends it straight to your storage over many streams at once, within the speed limits you set, and picks up where it left off if the line drops.
-
It's checked
Every file is compared with the card, SHA-256, before the delivery counts as done. A file that doesn't match is sent again.
-
People know
The people you choose get an email saying where it landed, or a download link. It can go on to Frame.io, and later to tape.
Your media stays yours
NOVA runs on your own server, next to your own storage. Nothing passes through anyone else's cloud.
- Every sign-in needs an authenticator code. A password alone opens nothing.
- Each Mac proves who it is with a key kept in its own Secure Enclave, and has to be approved before it can move anything.
- People reach only what they're given: their company's storage, their folders, upload or download.
- Taking access away stops running transfers, not just the next one.
- Everything is recorded: every transfer, download and change, with who and when.
